THE ROLE OF SILICON IN STRESS REDUCTION AND PLANT DEVELOPMENT

Fertilization with silicon plays a crucial role in mitigating the negative impact of stress conditions on crop quality and yield. Gladiator contains high concentrations of stabilized monosilicic acid, which is the most effective plant-available form of silicon. Once absorbed by plants, monosilicic acid is transported through the xylem to the cells of stems, foliage, and fruits. It is then stored in cell membranes, creating a mechanical barrier that strengthens cell walls and enhances the crop's natural defence mechanisms.
